Welcome to MH Hypnosis: Why I Created This Blog
At the end of 2024, I got certified in QHHT (Quantum Healing Hypnosis Technique). But my journey into hypnosis began long before that.
I spent nearly a decade fighting for my mental and physical health after escaping my narcissistic, abusive biological parents and the far-right Christian cult they were involved in. I endured 19 years of toxicity, witnessed domestic abuse, and experienced abuse myself from the time I was four years old. For a long time, I believed healing was nothing more than a pipe dream.
By my early twenties, I was at the end of my rope. Time wasn't healing me, no matter how much distance I put between myself and my past. Traditional therapies also weren't enough for what I was carrying. I went through talk therapy and EMDR. While EMDR helped resolve some specific memories and traumas, what I needed was help healing from Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (C-PTSD) and Stockholm Syndrome as a whole. I genuinely believed I was broken and couldn't be reached.
Then someone recommended hypnotherapy.
I spent two years studying and experiencing 5TH PATH® and 7TH PATH® hypnosis. While I made good progress, I still felt there was something missing. Like talk therapy and EMDR, I found these methods incredibly helpful for individual traumas, specific issues, and reducing anxiety and depression triggers, but I still wasn't finding the deeper resolution I was searching for. Even so, the progress I made gave me hope. It was the first time I truly felt I was moving forward.
During a past-life regression session while training in 5TH PATH® and 7TH PATH®, I discovered what I believe is my soul's calling: to become a hypnotherapist and help others as I continued helping myself. I wasn't completely sure what that path would look like until I discovered Dolores Cannon's work.
Dolores Cannon's seminars and case studies about healing deeply resonated with me and gave me hope. Even then, I didn't rush into training. I wanted to be certain it was the right path—not only for helping others, but for my own healing first.
After experiencing two QHHT sessions, I found myself making massive progress. Instead of feeling like I was healing one trauma at a time, I finally felt like I was healing as a whole person. I experienced significant changes mentally, emotionally, and physically. Before beginning this work, I had a history of gastroparesis (stomach paralysis), hypothyroidism, and had been diagnosed with Complex Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Stockholm Syndrome by psychiatrists. Over time, I experienced improvements in all of these areas. I continue to work with my psychiatrist and, under medical supervision, have been able to reduce my medications to very little. More importantly, I developed a much deeper understanding of my life, my experiences, and what I believe is my soul's purpose.
After becoming certified in QHHT, I began helping people who had experienced many of the same struggles I had. Over time, I started noticing patterns in what people needed and naturally began making adjustments to the script. I also developed my own suggestions and tools to help people with ADHD and autism who struggle to focus during hypnosis. I created techniques to help quiet the mind, reduce anxiety before a session, and help those who believed they couldn't visualize begin opening that ability.
Eventually, I wasn't just making small adjustments anymore. I was writing entirely new scripts, creating new tools, and developing a method that reflected everything I had learned through both my own healing journey and my work with clients.
That's how MH Hypnosis was born.
It's about healing for the rest of us who haven't found the answers through conventional approaches alone. It's about creating a safe place for people who feel unseen, unheard, or like they've tried everything. Every day I work with people who are searching high and low for something that finally helps because, at the end of the day, we all deserve our lives back. We can't spend our entire lives living in survival mode, constantly triggered by complex trauma and old wounds.
It's time to heal. It's time to call your energy back.
My method uses regression techniques to help people explore the root of mental, emotional, and physical challenges. For those who don't believe in past lives, regression can simply be viewed as a way of working with the subconscious mind. My belief is that unresolved trauma continues to carry emotional energy that can affect us until it is understood and resolved. As people work through those experiences, they often find that the weight they've been carrying begins to lift, allowing space for healing, growth, and a renewed sense of peace.
If you're reading this because you're searching for answers, I hope you know you're not alone. Whether you've been struggling for months or decades, my hope is that MH Hypnosis becomes a place where you feel safe to ask questions, explore your healing, and discover what's possible for you. This blog is where I'll be sharing what I've learned, what continues to surprise me, and what I see every day working with the subconscious mind. I'm glad you're here.
